We live in Carrollton, VA with our two teenage daughters. The Outer Banks have been a regular part of our travel since moving to the area in 2010. In 2021 we decided to purchase a short term rental beach house of our own so others could experience vacations with their family the way we have.
Kristen works in the dental industry and is responsible for every single piece of furniture and decor in Life Off The Leash. Want to hunt for sea glass? She's your girl. Carter handles bookings and anything tech related. If you have a question about the WiFi, smart TV's, or Ecobee thermostat, he's your guy.
Why We Chose Life Off The Leash & Kitty Hawk
Kitty Hawk actually chose us. It was important to us not to spend time sitting in traffic traveling to get to our home. Kitty Hawk is a short drive over the Wright Memorial Bridge which means less time in the car and more time enjoying OBX. That's also why we chose Sunday-to-Sunday vacations.
It didn't take much for us to decide that Life Off The Leash was the right short term rental beach house for us. As soon as we climbed up to the top deck and took in the 360 degree view of the entire area we were hooked. Sunrise and sunset over the water from the same house! SOLD!
